Multi-Stage Web Design Process
We have a real desire to give you the website you see in your mind's
eye and that makes sense for you and your business. To this end, we want
to make sure that we understand what you want and need before we start
to design your website. We also want to ascertain that the communication
channels remain open throughout the process.
To aid in the realization of your website dreams, we propose that we
follow a process based on a sequence of distinct phases. (CCWS shall
stand for "Claudia Cimenti WebSites"):
- Needs Evaluation: We will sit together to get a
better understanding of what you need out of a website. We start out by
learning more about what your company does, and who your customer is.
The development and maintenance budget constraints are also discussed.
- Website Proposal: CCWS will come up with a website
proposal for your review and approval. A list of available domain names
is included.
- Resource Transfer: It's your turn to assemble any
resources that might end up on the website: logos, pictures, product
information, various marketing materials, etc. You should also give
some thought about detailed content for your webpage (sales copy).
- Website Development: This is where the
nitty-gritty happens in terms of CCWS registering the domain name,
securing a hosting account, and finally coding up the website.
- Pre-launch Website Review: Once the main structure
of the website is available, content can be added, and layouts tweaked.
More and more details get fleshed out and reviewed as the website nears
completion.
- Website Launch: The day is here! Your website is
going live! Now you can start incorporating your web presence in all
your marketing materials.
- After Launch Support: Finally we move into
maintenance mode. We add and update content as needed. You're not on
your own!
